If I’m going to exercise, it’s got to be in the morning or I won’t have the energy to make it happen later in the day.
And it has been so long since I exercised regularly that I knew I needed to start off doing something that wasn’t too hard so I wouldn’t give up yet would also give me some results quickly.
Pilates was the natural choice. It’s low impact, fun, almost like meditation, and I don’t want to die of exhaustion when I’m done.
So this past week, I’ve started making a habit of doing some 10-minute Pilates workouts with Lara Hudson.
I’ll admit that I was super sore the first few days, but now I’m a week in and feeling great! Once I’ve gotten a little stronger, I plan on upgrading the difficulty to PiYo (pilates/yoga) with Chalene Johnson.
